What material can this be used with?
This recessed wall vent is designed specifically for drywall or gypsum walls and ceilings.

My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes, definitely! Our products are designed for both pre- and post-drywall installation. Just be prepared for a bit of drywall mudding and sanding to ensure a flush, seamless look. If you’re looking for something a bit more DIY-friendly, use the Framed Wall Vent [Lite] or Framed Wall Vent [Luxe], Framed Wall Vent [Luxe+]. When installing, be conscious of wall studs. Position the product between studs for a seamless result. 

Will this product work with my HVAC system?
This HVAC-compatible wall vent is airflow tested and designed to work with most standard systems, but it’s always a good idea to consult your HVAC specialist to ensure that this product is right for yours. 

Are these vents compatible with filters?
Not at the moment, unfortunately. Our vents aren't designed to fit filters right now, but we're actively working on a solution. Watch this space!

Framed or Flush? What's the difference between the Flush Wall Vent [Lite] and the Framed Wall Vent [Lite]? 
This is the Flush model, which sits level with the wall surface. It requires drywall mudding and sanding for a seamless wall vent installation, so it’s best installed by a professional. In comparison, the Framed model has a rim that sits on top of the wall surface, creating a visible border and allowing for an easy, DIY-friendly drop-in installation. Neither of these products have integrated airflow control, although dampers can be purchased separately if needed.

Lite or Luxe? What's the difference between the Flush Wall Vent [Lite] and the Flush Wall Vent [Luxe]?
This is the Lite model, an affordable flush wall vent made from durable ABS plastic. It doesn’t have built-in airflow control (though you can purchase Lite Dampers separately if needed). In comparison, the Luxe model is made from powder-coated galvanneal steel, and has built-in dampers for airflow control.

And what about the Luxe+ model?
The Flush Wall Vent [Luxe+] is a high-quality vent for those who want a little extra “oomph”. Made from powder-coated, galvanneal steel, it has all the features of the Flush Wall Vent [Luxe], and is also equipped with an extra air channel that allows for up to 100% increased airflow.

Can I use this vent on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This is a flush air vent for walls and ceilings and is compatible with drywall or gypsum.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?
This is the Flush model. It’s an ultra-minimal wall vent that requires mudding and sanding to achieve a flush finish, so it’s best tackled by someone experienced with drywall. If that’s not you, we recommend calling a pro! Alternatively, use the Framed Wall Vent [Lite] — installation is simple and requires minimal tools. Just cut a hole in the drywall (if needed) and fasten with the provided screws. Check our handy install guide for step-by-step instructions for both models.

Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, we do have a wide range of sizes available, and you can paint or wallpaper them however you like for a flush wall vent that blends into drywall. 

Can I paint it? 
Yes! This minimalist drywall vent is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for ABS plastic. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results.
