My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes! This mount template plate can be retrofitted as well as used before the drywalling stage. It’s a smash plate for framed and flush installs, making it the perfect hole template for device mounts to ensure that they are uniform.

Can I use this on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This recessed device mount template is designed for drywall or gypsum walls and ceilings only.

Is it necessary to buy a Device Mount Smash Plate if I bought a Device Mount?
Nope! The Device Mount Smash Plate is optional. It’s primarily used before the drywalling stage, or as a template for device mounts to ensure accurate cutouts when installing multiple units at once. For more examples of how it can be used, refer to the instruction guide or contact our support team if you have any questions.

How many Device Mount Smash Plates do I need to buy?
If you're using the Device Mount Smash Plate as a cutout plate for device mounts to be installed in an existing surface, you only need one, as it is reusable. If installing behind drywall or ceiling surfaces, you'll need one Smash Plate for each Device Mount being installed.
