What material can this be used with?
This customizable framed vent is designed for drywall or gypsum walls and ceilings.

My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes, absolutely! This surface-mount air vent for walls and ceilings features a quick, drop-in install—no mudding or sanding required. When installing, be conscious of wall studs. Position the product between studs for a seamless result.

Will this product work with my HVAC system?
This vent is airflow tested and constructed to work with most standard systems, but it’s always a good idea to consult your HVAC specialist to ensure that this product is right for yours.

Are these vents compatible with filters?
Not yet—but we're working on it! Our current vents aren’t designed to fit filters, but a compatible solution is in the works.

What's the difference between the Framed Wall Vent [Lite] and the Flush Wall Vent [Lite]?
This is the Framed model, which has a visible rim that sits on top of the wall surface—making it ideal for quick, easy, DIY installation. In contrast, the Flush model sits level with the wall for a seamless look, but requires mudding and sanding during installation

Lite or Luxe? What's the difference between the Framed Wall Vent [Lite] and the Framed Wall Vent [Luxe]?
This is the Lite model, an affordable framed wall vent for DIY projects made from durable ABS plastic. It doesn’t have built-in airflow control (though you can purchase Lite Dampers separately if needed). In comparison, the Luxe model is made from powder-coated galvanneal steel, and has built-in dampers for airflow control. 

And what about Lite+?
Lite+ is a great choice when you need increased airflow. It has all the same features as the Framed Wall Vent [Lite], but with a second air channel that delivers +50% more airflow—without compromising on design. The standard Lite model is still a solid option for most spaces, offering dependable, everyday performance with its single air channel. Learn more about Lite+

Can I use this vent on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This wall vent can also be used on ceilings, but would not work on flooring.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?
This is the Framed model—easy to install with just a few basic tools. Simply drop it into the duct and secure it with the included screws. The Flush model, on the other hand, involves mudding and sanding, so it’s better suited for someone with drywall experience. (If that’s not you, we suggest bringing in a pro!) Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, we do have a wide range of sizes available, and you can paint or wallpaper them however you like for a DIY wall vent that blends with surfaces around it.

Can I paint it?
Yes! This customizable wall vent is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for ABS plastic. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results.
