What material can this be used with?

My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes, absolutely! This recessed fireplace vent is specifically designed as a mud-in drywall vent for fireplaces. Just be prepared for a bit of drywall mudding and sanding (or other material-appropriate adjustments) to ensure a flush, seamless look. When installing, be conscious of wall studs. Position the product between studs for a seamless result.

Can the Fireplace Vent also be used as an air return?
Yes, it can! Just check the sizing of your opening to ensure a proper fit. If needed, we offer other sizes on our site.

Will the Fireplace Vent be flush with the surface it is installed on?
Yes! The ultra-minimal fireplace vent features a reversible center tray design. You can choose between a paintable tray surface, like our drywall products, or a deeper tray, like our Flush products.

Can I use this on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This flushmount fireplace vent is designed for use on walls and ceilings only, and would not work on flooring.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?
This is a Flush model. It requires mudding and sanding to achieve a flush finish, so it’s best tackled by someone experienced with drywall. If that’s not you, we recommend calling a pro!

Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, we do have a range of sizes available, and you can paint, wallpaper, or otherwise cover this customizable fireplace vent however you like for a luxe, flush fireplace vent for seamless design.

Can I paint it?
Yes! This high-end fireplace vent for modern interiors is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for powder-coated galvanneal steel. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results.
