What material can this be used with?
This flush access panel is designed specifically for drywall and gypsum walls or ceilings. If you're working with other materials, use the Framed Access Panel [Luxe] — it’s compatible with any surface.

What can I use this for?
Almost anything. This luxe access door was designed to seamlessly conceal electrical panels, but it’s versatile enough to hide various utilities within walls that require easy access. Common uses include covering cables and wiring, circuit breakers/electrical systems, ductwork, and plumbing/shut-off valves, as well as storage compartments, crawl spaces and attic access points. This minimalist access panel is ideal for keeping these areas out of sight while maintaining convenience.

My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes, definitely! Our universal access panels are designed for both pre- and post-drywall installation. Just be prepared for a bit of drywall mudding and sanding to ensure a flush, seamless look for an. If you’re looking for something a bit more DIY-friendly, use the Framed Access Panel [Luxe]. When installing, be conscious of wall studs. Position the product between studs for a seamless result. 

Framed or Flush? What's the difference between the Flush Access Panel [Luxe] and the Framed Access Panel [Luxe]?
This is the Flush model, a recessed access panel for walls and ceilings that sits level with the surrounding surface, requiring drywall mudding and sanding for a seamless aesthetic. In comparison, the Framed model has a rim that sits on top of the wall surface and remains visible after install, creating a visible border and allowing for an easy, DIY-friendly drop-in installation. 

Can I use this product on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This customizable access panel for drywall is designed for wall and ceiling installations only.

What is the depth of the Flush Access Panel?
The Flush Access Panel [Luxe] recesses just under ½" into the wall. This ensures it stays within the drywall depth and won’t interfere with studs.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?
This is the Flush model. It requires mudding and sanding to achieve a flush finish, so it’s best tackled by someone experienced with drywall. If that’s not you, we recommend calling a pro! Alternatively, use the Framed Access Panel [Luxe] — installation is simple and requires minimal tools. Just cut a hole in the drywall and fasten the panel with the provided screws. Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, we do have a wide range of sizes available, and you can paint or wallpaper them however you like. The result? The best access panel for seamless wall design!

Can I paint it?
Yes! This DIY-friendly access panel is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for powder-coated galvanneal steel. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results.
