This minimalist water closet niche is the Flush model, which sits level with the wall surface. It requires drywall mudding and sanding to create a seamless, contoured look that blends into the wall, so it’s best installed by a professional. In comparison, the Framed model has a rim that sits on top of the wall surface, creating a visible border and allowing for an easy, DIY-friendly drop-in installation.

Can I use this product on floors, walls, and ceilings?This flush bathroom niche is designed for walls, and would not work on floors or ceilings.

This is the Flush model. It requires mudding and sanding to achieve a flush finish, so it’s best tackled by someone experienced with drywall. If that’s not you, we recommend calling a pro! Alternatively, use the Framed WC Niche [Luxe] — installation is simple and requires minimal tools. Just cut a hole in the drywall and fasten the WC niche with the provided screws. Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, you can paint or wallpaper this luxe bathroom niche however you like.

Can I paint it?
Yes! This luxe wall niche for bathroom essentials is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for powder-coated galvanneal steel. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results. The effect? A perfect high-end flush water closet niche for modern homes.

Can I tile it?
No. This recessed bathroom storage niche is designed for use with drywall only. Adding extra weight like tiles could keep the door from closing properly. However, you can apply paint, wallpaper, or texture to customize it to fit the surrounding aesthetic.

How do you add recessed lighting to the niche?
This is a luxe bathroom storage niche with LED lighting option. It includes a small channel along the inside top panel to house an LED light strip (not included). There’s even an integrated, concealed hinged door to hide wires and a power supply if needed. Please note: recessed lighting may require electrical work before installing the niche.
