• Remove the centre piece by unclipping the support legs.

What material can this be used with?
This recessed wall vent will work with drywall or gypsum walls and ceilings as well as other wall materials like tile or wood paneling. 

My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?
Yes, absolutely! This minimalist drywall vent is designed to ensure a super-easy, drop-in install with no mudding or sanding required. When installing, be conscious of wall studs. Position the product between studs for a seamless result. 

Does this product include a fan?
No, this is an exhaust mount. The fan is not included. 

I already have a fan fitted. Can this product be used with retrofit ventilation fans?
Yes, absolutely! This framed drywall vent is specifically designed for use with retrofit ventilation fans.

Are there restrictions on which ventilation fans I can use?
Yes, this exhaust mount is designed specifically for retrofit fans with a lip and a housing size up to 12" x 12". Ensure your fan meets these requirements for a proper fit.

Can this be installed in engineered floor joist systems with TJI joists?
This ultra-minimal wall vent is designed for use with standard joists. If you’re using TJI joists, you may need to check the sizing to ensure proper fitment. We recommend consulting with a professional if you’re unsure about compatibility.

Will this product work with my HVAC system?
This HVAC-compatible wall vent is airflow tested and designed to work with most standard systems, but it’s always a good idea to consult your HVAC specialist to ensure that this product is right for yours. 

Are these vents compatible with filters?
Not at the moment, unfortunately. Our vents aren't designed to fit filters right now, but we're actively working on a solution. Watch this space!

Framed or Flush? What's the difference between the Framed Exhaust Mount [Lite] and the Flush Exhaust Mount [Lite]?
This is the Framed model, with a rim that sits on top of the wall surface, creating a visible border and allowing for an easy, DIY-friendly drop-in installation. In comparison, the Flush model sits level with the wall surface, requiring drywall mudding and sanding for a seamless, contoured look that blends into the wall.

Lite or Luxe? What's the difference between the Framed Exhaust Mount [Lite] and the Framed Exhaust Mount [Luxe]?
This is the Lite model, made from durable ABS plastic. In comparison, the Luxe model is made from powder-coated galvanneal steel.

Can I use this vent on floors, walls, and ceilings?
This framed air vent for walls and ceilings is designed for drywall or gypsum surfaces only.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?
This is the Framed model — an easy-to-install recessed vent for walls. Installation is simple and requires minimal tools. Just cut a hole in the drywall (if needed) and fasten with the provided screws. In comparison, the Flush model requires a bit more skill with mudding and sanding, so it’s best tackled by someone experienced with drywall. (If that’s not you, we recommend calling in a pro!) Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. But the good news is that you can paint or wallpaper our products however you like to blend seamlessly into the surrounding wall. The effect? An affordable air vent for clean drywall finish.

Can I paint it? 
Yes! This hidden air vent for drywall surfaces is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for ABS plastic. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results.
