What material can this be used with?
This concealed device mount is designed specifically for drywall and gypsum walls or ceilings. 

What can I use this for?
This recessed device mount is extremely versatile and can be used to recess any small device required in the home. You can also use it as a wireless access point flush mount or a smoke detector recessed mount. (When using this product to house a smoke detector, we highly recommend keeping the cover off to avoid interfering with its effectiveness).

My wall is already installed. Can I use this product?Yes, absolutely! Just be prepared for a bit of drywall mudding and sanding to ensure a flush, seamless look. If you’re looking for something a bit more DIY-friendly, use the Framed Drywall Device Mount [Lite]. When installing, be conscious of wall studs. Position the product between studs for a seamless result. 

What devices are compatible with the Flush No-See Device Mount [Luxe]?
Any device that will fit within the 5” x 5” footprint can be mounted with this minimalist device mount. Common examples are smart thermostats such as Google Nest and ecobee.

What's the difference between the Flush No-See Device Mount [Luxe] and the Flush Device Mount [Luxe]?
This No-See model is equipped with a hinged hatch for easier access. The hatch also has a small pocket for stowing keys, cards, cash, and other essential items. In comparison, the Flush Device Mount [Luxe] is the standard model with a removable cover. Both models are designed to be mudded in, creating a seamless, contoured look that blends into the wall, so they’re best installed by a professional. 

Can I use this product on floors, walls, and ceilings?This luxe, hidden device mount is designed for walls and ceilings, and would not work on flooring. 

Does this require electrical prep work?
Yes, some preparation of the receptacle box is required. (See step 1 of the install guide)

Are there restrictions on wall plate sizes?
Yes, check the detailed dimensions for compatible wall plate sizes.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?
This is the Flush model. It requires mudding and sanding to achieve a flush finish, so it’s best tackled by someone experienced with drywall. If that’s not you, we recommend calling a pro! Alternatively, use the Framed Drywall Device Mount [Lite] — installation is simple and requires minimal tools. Just cut a hole in the drywall and fasten the device mount with the provided screws. Do you make custom sizes or colors?
No, we don’t offer custom sizes or colors. However, we do have a wide range of sizes available, and you can paint or wallpaper them however you like.

Can I paint it?
Yes! This customizable recessed device mount is specifically designed to be painted to blend into the wall. Just use a paint that is suitable for powder-coated galvanneal steel. We recommend applying a primer before painting for the best results.

Is the wall plate included?

No, wall plates are sold separately. The Flush Drywall Receptacle Mount [Lite] is compatible with recommended brands like Leviton, Lutron, and Eaton.
